Wednesday, May 21 Golf Tournament - Annual event will be held at the Shiloh Golf Course in Adamsville. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m.. A BBQ lunch will be served at 12 p.m. and tee-off will be at 1 p.m. For more information call 731-632-1401. Festival Officially begins in the Buford Pusser Memorial Park in Adamsville, Tennessee Carnival Rides, Booths, Food and Entertainment. There will also be professional wrestling. |

Friday, May 23 ***ATTENTION*** THE PLANNED BUS TOUR IS FULL!
The very popular Adamsville will take place under the pavilion. Start time is 6 p.m. There will be a total of $600 in cash prizes! Adamsville Idol age groups include: 9-12 years, 13-15 years, 16-21 years and 22-40 years. This year's Adamsville Idol is adding a new age group. Starting this year 40 years and up will be able to participate. "I think we have missed a lot of really top notch talent" said Dwana Pusser. Each age group winner will receive $100. The over-all winner will receive an additional $100! For more information concerning this year's Adamsville Idol, contact Atoyia Barnes at 731-646-1475. Saturday, May 24 5-K Run - Call 731-632-1401 for more information. Softball Tournament Antique Car Show in the park Parade - The parade will consist of law enforcement officers and their patrol cars. McGruff the Crime Dog will be the grand marshal! Opening Ceremonies will begin at 11 a.m. under the pavilion. The Local and National law Enforcement Officer of the Year will be honored. Carnival Rides will be available all day Saturday for all ages. A Choo Choo Train will be there for the kids to ride! Bring the entire family! All kinds of interesting booths and vendors will be on hand as well. FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! There will be all kinds of southern style food at the festival! BBQ, Fried Pies and much more! Story Telling at the Buford Pusser Museum 5 p.m. Stories of the famous sheriff will be told by Steve Sweat and Jack Coffman. Bluegrass Music under the pavilion starts at 5 p.m. |
