ATTENTION!

We are so happy that many of you are supporters of the late Sheriff Buford Pusser. The notes and messages you send to Dwana are very thoughtful and appreciated. However, as much as we appreciate your efforts to promote the legacy of Buford Pusser, we must insist that you go about it in the proper way. As of late there have been several individuals that has copied photographs from this site and added to their own web page or myspace page. These photographs are owned either by the Buford Pusser Foundation or by Wiley Brewer. All we would ask is that if you are interested in helping us promote the legend of Buford Pusser, that you would contact us and explain to us what your intentions are. In most cases we would be happy for you to take part in keeping the legend alive, there are others however that have other motives. Please understand that we do not intend to be offensive, but to protect the integrity of the late Sheriff we must be selective in who and how we allow to take part in this effort. If you are currently using any photographs from this site, please contact us and let us know what you are using them for. As we said, in most cases we are happy for the help, we simply want to know who we are working with in this effort.
