Hello friends. I have exciting news. The book I have been working on for so long will be released very soon. It is called "Walking On - A Daughter’s Journey with Legendary Sheriff Buford Pusser".

I wrote the book with writers Ken Beck and Jim Clark. It is being published by Pelican Publishing Company. The book has 18 chapters and will tell my father's story from my perspective. There will be never before published information and photographs. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wrote the forward.

Chapter 17 is called "After the Ambush" and chapter 18 is called "Thoughts about Daddy's Death". Both of these chapters were very hard for me to relive.

The book will be a hard-back and will officially come out in the fall of 2008. As part of the 20th Annual Buford Pusser Festival, we will be taking pre-orders. All who order during the festival will be guarenteed an autographed copy of the book.

As my health allows, I will do a book tour and several press events. I am looking forward to people reading this book because as far as I am concerned, it is the truth. So many things and stories have been told about my daddy over the years. Some were true, some were not. But I was there and I lived it. So, I am looking forward to people seeing my daddy through my eyes and my heart. An official press release from Pelican Publishing Company is forthcoming.
